Bio: Joanna Jones graduated from the Champion Influence Certification program on June 27, 2021. Taking the class allowed her to expand her mindset and solidify her belief that becoming a Life Coach is her calling and ministry. After nearly 19 years with the government, Joanna is ready to make that transition from being an employee to being her own boss.
Joanna is the visionary behind Deep Roots Empowerment, which she started in 2015 after God revealed the vision to her in a dream. Joanna is finally activating the dream and allowing it manifest. She has decreed that her area of focus is Empowerment and Wellness Coaching in which she empowers women to embrace ultimate wellness in their mind, body and spirit so that they can unlock their hidden potential and lead purposeful, peaceful and powerful lives. She also wants to help women with weight issues by helping them address "what’s eating them," so that they shed the emotional poundage, and show them that by making better food choices, they can transform not only their bodies, but their lives.
Topping the scales at nearly 340 in 2018, she was her first client and has transformed her body from transforming her mind and wants to show other women how they too can do the same. Joanna is a member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Inc. and was a board member of Head2Toe Wellness and Funset Charity Club in Huntsville, Alabama. She is the proud parent of 2 adult children and has 1 grandson, and she wants them to see her tapping into her purpose and building a legacy right now. Joanna loves the Lord, writing, being creative, and is a student of life.
She currently resides in Raleigh, North Carolina but desires to be location independent. She believes as a Life Coach desires will become a reality. One of her favorite quotes to live by is Les Brown's quote, “You don’t have to be great to start, but you have to start to be great." She has proven this quote by making the decision to no longer be average, but to unleash the greatness that has been waiting to be extracted, so she can start impacting the world!
